Thank you to all who have read my blog so far. I know I said I would post pictures, but after thinking about it, I am not going to as I do not want them circulating the internet. Anyways, this is the heaviest I have ever been. My motivation for this change is that I want to be healthier and I want to set a good example for my five year old.
So far what I have started doing is I downloaded my fitness pal. One thing that I have enjoyed about this app is that I am able to connect with friends on there, that is a great motivational tool. I also really like the barcode scanner to get the exact food that you are eating. I have not changed any eating habits yet because I wanted to log my calories with how I have been eating so I can get a better idea of the amount of calories I am currently consuming and the types of food. I never really think about what I am eating I just eat. I would say on average I have been consuming around 1800 calories a day.
Sunday will be my last day with calories on my current regime. Sunday will be a day for reevaluation, I will take a look at where I am, where I need/want to be, and what I can do to get there. My goal for calories per day according for my fitness pal is about 1447. This is definitely an attainable goal for me and I plan on meeting it everyday. (with some cheat days in there) :)
Starting Weight: 275 lbs
Overall Goal Weight: 150 lbs
Weekly Goal: -5 lbs (will lower to 2-3lbs after the first couple of weeks)
